Coming into Fashion

Papier glacé, Coming into fashion, Palais Galliera

When it comes to exhibitions I have to admit that I’m a little bit addicted to them. I just love to visit them all the time, on my own, all alone. Favorite ones? Those representing fashion /or/ photography.  I was waiting for so long for this one! The exhibition Papier glacé, un siècle de photographie de mode chez Condé Nast  (“Coming into Fashion, a Century of Photography at Condé Nast” ) shows 150 prints from leading fashion photographers from 1918 through to the present day.

Horst, Cecil Beaton, Erwin Blumenfeld and Irving Penn. Then, from the 1950s onwards, Guy Bourdin, William Klein, David Bailey, Helmut Newton, Bruce Weber, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Miles Aldridge…

Upravo sam posjetila izlozbu Petera Lindbergha u Zg, tako da znam o cemu pricas. I ovu bih rado, odlican post i bas si me zainteresirala. A prije tri godine smo u Sankt Petersburgu, u Hermitageu slucajno naletjeli na izlozbu A. Liebowitz, wow!

    1. Da i ja sam bas jucer vidil Lindbergha. Odlican je! Medjutim izlozbi fali edukativni dio i neki koncept.
