1. Envouthé box (find all the information about it HERE)
What do you think of a beautiful box full of different teas? Do you remember the Joli Box I wrote about? Well this is the same thing but instead of the cosmetics you get the teas of high quality – 6 different teas to make 55 cups of tea. I was thrilled when I got it.
2. Lately I enjoyed walking on the quai de la Seine.
4. GROM finally :)
Somebody asked me about the best ice cream in Paris. It’s simple – GROM, 81 rue de Seine
5. New season of the exhibitions
The spring is coming and the new exhibitions are opening their doors for those who waited to see them. The exhibition HAUTE COUTURE at Hôtel de Ville (from 02/03 to 06/07 2013) is free for the visitors. Come before the opening (10 o’clock every day except Sunday) otherwise you will wait in a very long line. “Paris haute couture gives visitors an opportunity to admire some exceptional examples of haute couture dresses or outfits, chosen from among the most beautiful pieces in the Galliera museum collections.”
I wrote HERE about Madame Grès exhibition held in Paris 2 years ago.
On the programme: Worth, Doucet, Poiret, Lanvin, Vionnet, Patou, Chanel, Molyneux, Rochas, Maggy Rouff, Jacques Heim, Nina Ricci, Schiaparelli, Jacques Fath, Balenciaga, Grès, Balmain, Carven, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent, Courrèges, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lacroix, Alaïa…
The exhibition tells the story of the luxury industry with its flamboyant designers and uniquely talented seamstresses.
6. Marie Laurencin at the Musée Marmottan Monet
“The exhibition at the Musée Marmottan Monet is presenting ninety-two of Marie’s works (seventy-two paintings and twenty watercolors from her best period: 1905-1935. This long‑awaited exhibition, more than fifty years after her death (1956) and marking one hundred and thirty years since her birth (1883), is a worthy tribute to one of the most refined French painters of the first half of the 20th century. If you are interested you can read more HERE.
7. Lately I love this blue/green sweater found in my mother’s closet. I’m sending you love from my library.
